At the West-Flanders Development Agency, we strongly believe in a blue future. With our maritime test platform Blue Accelerator, our participation in the Ostend Science Park and the Quick-Win call for innovation projects, we are making every effort to facilitate and promote this innovation and evolution process.

 

The European Interreg project ‘Inn2POWER’ is another good example of this ambition. In this project, the West Flanders Development Agency is committing itself, along with several national and international partners, including Blauwe Cluster and the Port of Ostend, to giving the offshore wind industry a transnational boost.

 

Inn2POWER's main goal is to support and strengthen SMEs active in the offshore wind industry in the North Sea region. For example, the project aims to achieve innovative and transnational collaborations between SMEs and to improve the skills and competences of staff, as well as facilitating access to testing facilities.
