Cooking, gaming, watching television, making a cup of coffee, charging an electric bike... in many Flemish households, it all happens on blue energy, which is something we as consumers often do not realise. We hardly see the wind turbines when we are at sea, and we cannot, for example, explicitly choose offshore wind energy when we choose our energy supplier. 

 

This is why the West Flanders Development Agency (POM West-Vlaanderen), along with its Flemish project partners Blauwe Cluster and the Port of Ostend, is committed to introducing the Flemish people to this fascinating industry.

 

Herr Seele and Kamagurka joined forces at the request of the West-Flanders Development Agency. They created ten paintings in which Cowboy Henk playfully highlights the greatest advantages of wind energy at sea.
